Engraving

Clarity Sign and Design offers two forms of engraving; Rotary and Laser.

 

Rotary Engraving

Rotary engraving uses a high speed rotary bit affixed to a moving head to machine components. Precision is assured through the use of CNC drive technology.   

 

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving uses a precision CO2 laser to etch or cut a wide range of materials. The techniques produces an exceptionally accurate and clean cut where required; in metals, it is primarily used to etch the surface with an indelible mark.

 

Materials

Clarity can engrave a wide variety of materials including:-

  • Stainless steels

  • Aluminium, Brass/Copper & Other non-ferrous metals

  • Laminate materials

  • Wood, MDF, modelling board

  • Acrylics, PVC & other plastics
